Jorginho followed Maurizio Sarri to Chelsea in 2018 after the pair worked together successfully at Napoli. The Italian tactician quit Stamford Bridge after one year however to take charge at Juventus.
It led to inevitable speculation linking his compatriot with yet another move that would allow him to team up with Sarri in Turin.
But despite Jorginho's ability to implement the coach's possession-based system the pair have not spoken since he left west London, reports the Athletic.
The 28-year-old struggled in his first year at Chelsea and was regularly seen as the scapegoat for their poor form such was his relationship with Sarri.
