Timo Werner has encountered problems with vertigo and dizziness on the pitch in the past. RB Leipzig’s star striker first appeared to suffer from the issues back in 2017 during a Champions League game against Besiktas.
Werner was playing in Turkey and was forced off the pitch after just 32 minutes as the unusual sequence of events unfolded. The 24-year-old, who is now set to join Frank Lampard’s Chelsea this summer for £54m, couldn’t cope with the noise produced by the Besiktas supporters.
