Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard has given viewers an update on Kate Garraway and her husband Derek Draper, who is critically ill in an induced coma after contracting coronavirus.
On Thursday, Kate shared an Instagram post after taking part in the weekly clap for carers, thanking the people who are "keeping my Derek alive".
On Friday's Good Morning Britain, Ben gave viewers another update about Derek, saying Kate has been able to see and speak to her husband.
