Piers Morgan
Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week.
Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Good Morning Britain stars Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid were seen fighting back tears as they spoke about co-star Kate Garraway’s husband Derek Draper’s health.
Susanna, 49, admitted she and Piers are “hoping for a miracle” as Derek, 42, remains in a coma in hospital after being admitted with coronavirus ten weeks ago.
Kate, 53, gave an emotional interview last week to reveal her husband Derek no longer has coronavirus, but the disease had “attacked everything” meaning he is still in a coma in hospital – which she was told he may be “locked in forever”.
Following the heartbreaking revelation from Kate, Piers and Susanna took the opportunity on Monday 8 June’s GMB programme to wish their colleague’s husband well.
