Katherine Jenkins has revealed she has no regrets about helping an elderly woman fight off muggers last year. On 4 December 2019, the mezzo-soprano singer was crossing the road in Chelsea, heading to rehearsals before a charity carol concert, when she saw a woman being robbed.
Without hesitation, Katherine jumped in to help, but was mugged too as her phone was allegedly stolen by two 15 year old girls.
Despite this, the 39 year old opera singer explained that if she saw it happening again, she wouldn't hesitate to step in and help again as she insisted: "If it happened again, I’d do it again." Speaking to Stella magazine, Katherine said of the woman: "She was clearly in distress, screaming for help.
