Lots of them. Global News invited young viewers to submit those questions. We then took them to the experts, in an effort to provide some comfort in this time of uncertainty.
Some of the answers have been condensed or edited for clarity. COVID-19 is the World Health Organization‘s name for the illness caused by a new coronavirus that emerged in late 2019.
It really did have origins in Wuhan, China. The best evidence — and the scientists are still working on this — is that the virus itself originated in bats and for some reason transferred into humans.
