A Kilwinning business woman is turning heads with her own line of not-for-profit protective snoods.Nicola Russell, who owns Russell Costume and Russell Clothing Alterations, designed the face protecting snoods to help protect and remind others keep their distance.She said: “At the start of lockdown I decided to make masks for myself and immediate family.“My dad is doing the 12-week shielding at the moment and I wanted to be able to deliver his shopping safely.“I then started dropping them off to my close friends and when more people began seeing them key workers began contacting me asking to buy the snoods.“It snowballed from there."Recently, online clothing company Boohoo removed their line of face masks after coming after being critised
