The Kingston Humane Society, like many charities and Canadian households, is facing uncertain financial times in light of the coronavirus pandemic and the restrictions that necessarily come with trying to halt the spread of COVID-19.
That uncertainty for people out of work or fearing a layoff could heavily impact the organization’s bottom line, says the society’s executive director Gord Hunter. “Seventy per cent of our revenue comes from the support of the public, who give us donations.
