Labour leader Alan Kelly said welcomed the Taoiseach's announcement of a further acceleration in the roadmap to ease coronavirus restrictions this evening, but added that he has still seen no plan for reopening cancer screening and other non-Covid health services. I think it's a common sense approach," he said on RTÉ's Six One News. There are "one or two things I disagree with", he said, "but by and large I think this is absolutely the right move from an economic point of view, from a societal point of view as well". "Bearing in mind we do need to be still vigilant, and continue with everything that we do now as regards hygiene, as regards everything in relation to social distancing.
