A kind-hearted lad has temporarily given up his flat near a hospital so that NHS nurses can have a place to stay for free. Jonny Stubbs, 25, vacated his one-bedroom property on the eve of the coronavirus lockdown last weekend.
He put out a message on Facebook offering the home to NHS key workers to stay in for free. The flat, in Horfield, Bristol, is just a five-minute drive from Southmead Hospital - and despite having just one bedroom, can comfortably house two people, Jonny said.
The house was snapped up by two grateful nurses, while Jonny has moved back in with his parents, just four miles away in the centre of Bristol.
