The Late Late Show aired for the final time in 2020 on Friday evening and it was a cracker of a programme. Ryan and the gang brought the annual Simon Community busk to TV screens this year, rounding up some of Ireland’s most celebrated musicians for a charity sing-song in studio.
The busk, which normally takes place on Grafton Street to raise money for Ireland’s homeless, was cancelled this year due to the health pandemic and so Glen Hansard rallied his talented friends to join him in the Late Late studio for a televised session.
The Once genius, who spearheaded the whole busk some ten years ago, was joined by the likes of Bono and The Edge, Finbarr Fury, Imelda May, Roisin O, John Sheahan, Steve Garrigan of Kodaline, Danny O’Reilly and
