A questionnaire which has been leaked suggests just how much clubs in League One and League Two are paying their players, according to reports.
The Daily Mail has claimed to have seen a private 80 page report where clubs across the three divisions of the EFL have anonymously detailed to the EFL what they pay both playing and non-playing staff.
In League One, 15 clubs responded, while in League Two, 14 of the 24 did so. And according to the report, in League One the highest earning player is on what equates to £15,600 a week while in League Two, the top earner makes what works out as £4,500 a week.
In terms of average wages of the highest earning players across the clubs which responded, players in League One typically earn £4,753 a week,
