Loris Karius is reportedly suing loan club Besiktas over unpaid wages. The Liverpool goalkeeper has been with the Turkish outfit on a temporary basis for the last two seasons, but claims he has not been paid in five months since October.
As reported by Goal, Karius' agent Florian Goll has said his client is now taking legal action against Besiktas to resolve the issue.
Goll also claimed Besiktas are trying to use the current break in football due to coronavirus as an excuse for not paying the player.
Karius' future is up in the air, with Besiktas holding an option to buy the stopper at the end of the season. But it looks increasingly likely he will return to Liverpool following comments by Besiktas board member Erdal Torunogullari.
