Loose Women fight back tears as Prince William opens up about trauma of Diana's death

Loose Women hosts Denise Welch, Christine Lampard and Nadia Sawalha fought back tears today after Prince William opened up about the tragic loss of his mum Princess Diana.

The second in line to the throne bravely opened up about his own mental health and the loss of his mum in a clip taken from his upcoming BBC documentary.

In the extract aired during Thursday's edition of Loose Women, Prince William said: "When you have gone through something traumatic in life like you're dad not being around or like I did with my mum, your emotions come back in leaps and bounds. "I found it overwhelming at times." As the clip played, the Loose Women back in the studio in London couldn't hide their emotions.
