A court has heard how a man whose partner was in hospital with their sick baby then seduced the woman’s 14-year-old daughter – getting her pregnant too.

The Leicestershire man was 22 and his partner was 35 when they had a baby. The child had health problems requiring hospital treatment.

While the 35-year-old mother was with the baby in hospital, her 14-year-old daughter, from a previous relationship, was at home with the defendant.

The case was reported by LeicestershireLive, who have chosen not to name to protect his victim. Leicester Crown Court heard the illegal sexual relationship between the man and his partner’s daughter began in 2011, but the girl only confessed to her mother what had happened in 2018.
