Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero has opened up about undergoing a coronavirus test after returning to his native Argentina to spend lockdown.
Like a lot of foreign Premier League players, Romero was given permission to fly home after the football season was suspended indefinitely.
He was forced to spend 14 days in self-isolation at a hotel as soon as he landed in Buenos Aires and had to take a test for COVID-19 before he was allowed to reunite with his family. "I came back to Argentina on March 22", Romero said. "I did my travelling, which was really, really hard, because I went in a car from Manchester to London. "After that I took a plane from London to Paris.
