Manchester United have opened talks over a summer transfer swoop for Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to reports from Italy.
The Red Devils are widely expected to sell Paul Pogba this summer, and Serbian international Milinkovic-Savic could replace him at Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old had impressed in helping Lazio to second place in Serie A, scoring five goals along the way, before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus crisis.
And United have now begun talks with the midfielder's representatives, according to Foot Mercato. The Italian publication claims United see him as the ideal replacement for Pogba, but face competition from real Madrid, Paris-Saint Germain and Juventus.
