Police say two people, a 29-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, drove to the Philadelphia Police Department's first district and told officer they were shot. Police drove the victims to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where they were each placed in stable condition, according to police. Investigators later learn that the man and woman were shot on the 2300 block of Bambrey Street.

Double shooting in West Philadelphia critically injures 23-year-old man, police say

WEST PHILADELPHIA - A shooting on a West Philadelphia street injures two men, one critically.The shooting happened on the 400 block of North Wanamaker Street about 7:15 Wednesday evening, according to authorities.A 23-year-old and a 20-year-old man were both injured when the gunfire took place outside on the street near some homes, according to authorities.Police took the 23-year-old man to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He is critical after he was shot in the abdomen.The 20-year-old was also taken by police to Presbyterian with two gunshot wounds to the arm.

Suspect sought in Chester County store robbery, police say

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police in Chester County are searching for a suspect they say robbed a store in the Paoli Shopping Center.The robbery was said to have taken place Sunday, June 4th, in a store at the Paoli Shopping Center, Tredyffrin Township police said.According to officials, the suspect demanded money from the one employee on duty at the store.The employee gave the suspect money from the cash register.

9-year-old boy pulled from Bucks County pond died from accidental drowning: officials

NEW BRITIAN, Pa. - Authorities pulled the body of a 9-year-old boy from waters of a Bucks County pond Monday night. Police in New Britain Township were called to a pond near the intersection of Vaux and Hickory roads around 6 p.m. for reports of a missing child. Officers immediately found the boy's bicycle with a fishing pole beside it, authorities said.
