San Antonio International Airport Friday evening, according to the U.S.’ National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).Delta Air Lines Flight 1111 had just arrived in San Antonio from Los Angeles and was taxiing to its gate with one engine on when the fatal incident occurred.The NTSB stated that “a worker was ingested into that engine at about 10:25 p.m.” The plane involved was an Airbus A319.The worker has not yet been identified by name, though the Federal Aviation Administration said Friday that they were an airport ramp worker employed by Unifi Aviation, a company that Delta Air Lines contracts for ground crew operations.The safety board is investigating the circumstances of the tragic accident and is “in the information gathering process at this point.”It’s not clear how the incident happened or if it was related to safety protocols.The San Antonio International Airport also confirmed the death of the ground crew member Friday night and is co-operating with the NTSB’s investigation.“We are deeply saddened by this incident and are working with authorities as they begin their investigation. During the drive, Copas saw traffic signs for "Juarez, Mexico," and believed Piedra was kidnapping her, The El Paso Times reports.Investigators said that’s when Copas pulled a gun out of her purse and shot Piedra multiple times in the head.

HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. - The last of several teenagers charged in the shooting death of a classmate in a drug-related robbery more than three years ago in Pennsylvania has been sentenced to prison following a plea deal.Damien Green, now 19, was sentenced Friday to 15 to 30 years after pleading guilty to third-degree murder in Blair County Court, The (Altoona) Mirror reported. BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK, Texas - A Florida man and his 14-year-old stepson died after hiking in extreme heat at Big Bend National Park in West Texas, according to officials.The 31-year-old man had been hiking the Marufo Vega Trail on Friday with his two stepsons, ages 14 and 21.Temperatures at the time were 119 degrees Fahrenheit (48 degrees Celsius), according to the National Park Service. MOSCOW, Idaho - An Idaho judge denied a request from around two dozen news organizations to lift a gag order in the case of a man accused of stabbing four college students to death.However, the gag order was significantly narrowed in response to the organizations' concerns.The document was filed Friday afternoon in Latah County. District Judge John C. Judge said in – what is formally called a "nondissemination order" – that any "prosecuting attorneys, defense attorneys, any agents of the prosecuting attorneys and defense attorneys and any attorneys representing witnesses, victims or a victim's family are prohibited from making extrajudicial statements (written or oral) that the lawyer or agent knows or reasonable should know will have a substantial likelihood of materially prejudicing or otherwise influence the outcome of the case." Judge said that to preserve the right to a fair trial, some curtailment of the dissemination of information in the case is "necessary and authorized under the law."That said, he also noted that the original gag order, which also barred law enforcement officers and others tangentially related to the case from speaking to the press, was "arguably overbroad and vague in some areas."Judge wrote that the revised order is "narrowly drawn to prohibit only extrajudicial statements that have a ‘substantial likelihood of materially prejudicing’ this case," including specific examples of what speech is prohibited and what is allowed. The judge also denied attorney Shanon Gray's request to be exempted from the amended order.
