Marvel Studios is back with its latest Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) instalment, which reviewers have already hailed 'gripping' and 'powerful'.
Echo, a spin-off from 2021 series Hawkeye, debuts later this week. It sees actress Alaqua Cox reprise her role of Maya Lopez - a deaf Native American who is on the run from her adoptive uncle and former boss, The Kingpin.
Like her character, Alaqua herself is deaf and has a prosthetic leg. The show's promotional poster and trailer - which you can watch below - had previously been praised by fans for including American Sign Language.
Echo has been rated TV-MA, which means it could contain content unsuitable for those under the age of 17. Those who were lucky enough to attend the show's premiere took to X, formerly Twitter, to praise its 'brutal' fighting scenes - which may just explain its high age rating.
