Paul have both issued a curfew starting Friday night in response to riots that have ripped through the Twin Cities following the death of George Floyd.

In an emergency order, Mayor Jacob Frey cites damage caused as protests became heated over the past two nights, leading to widespread looting and fires being set.

Tensions reached a peak as rioters stormed a Minneapolis police precinct and setting a fire. The 8 p.m. curfew takes effect Friday and will go through the weekend.
