More than 150 patients have been discharged from Tameside Hospital after beating coronavirus. 23 patients who tested positive for COVID-19 were able to leave the hospital in Ashton-under-Lyne in the last seven days.

They are now recovering at home. In total, 157 patients have now been discharged from the hospital. In a post on Facebook, the trust thanked hospital, community and social care staff for their 'dedication and care'.
