A mum fears her kids could end up losing months more school time if they have to isolate at home every time they get a cold and can't get tested.
Many Brits are struggling to get hold of a Covid-19 home test kit, with drive through and walk in sites also unavailable nearby.
It means some children will be off school for two weeks having only just returned after months off. On top of that, some parents will be left out of pocket as they are forced to stay home with their kids until they can get tested which is proving "impossible," some say.
Emma Gardiner, from Reading, says her two sons have been off school since last Thursday after they both suffered from a runny nose and a cough.
