A heartbroken mother has urged those who are struggling amid the ongoing coronavirus lockdown to find help to combat negative thoughts following the suicide of her son.
Gloucester-based Helen Artery-Brown, 54, has been left devastated by the death of her 22-year-old son, Ben Brown, after he took his own life on Monday.
Helen said the news was even more shocking as she and Ben’s family had no idea her son was struggling. They made regular contact while he was in lockdown with housemates at the University of Loughborough in Leicestershire.
But a heartbreaking note left by Ben revealed he had been struggling mentally without being able to go about a normal life, Gloucestershire Live reports.
