Boris Johnson says that the government will proceed with “maximum caution” when it begins easing the coronavirus lockdown. The Prime Minister told the Cabinet earlier today that nothing will be done to risk a second peak in the outbreak.

This comes ahead of the PM’s statement on Sunday, which will set out the next steps in the government’s response to COVID-19.
