My 600-lb Life star James King has died at the age of 49. The reality TV star passed away on Friday at a Nashville hospital following "several different health battles including sepsis and cirrhosis of the liver".
James' family confirmed the news to TMZ on Monday with a tribute to the father-of-six. The TLC star died in Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital while his obituary celebrated James as a "loving" husband, brother, dad and grandfather.
Despite reports, which state James suffered a series of health issues, it is not known why James was rushed to hospital ahead of his death.
James is survived by his wife Lisa Riasor King, four daughters Carrie, Krystle, Langston, Courtney and Bailey and two sons, Daemian and Austin.
