Iconic Australian soap Neighbours is setting the benchmark for how Hollywood and other soaps around the world can pick up filming amid the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.
The cast and crew of the Aussie show are heading back to work next week after one month of lockdown on the show and the eyes of Hollywood are on the show to judge how best to resume filming of other shows around the world.
British soaps like Coronation Street and EastEnders fear they will soon run out of episodes as filming shut down weeks ago as the UK went into lockdown.
But Neighbours’s approach to using camera tricks and separating cast members into different groups could lead the way for other shows to get back into production.
