NEW DELHI: Packaged food and beverage company Nestlé India on Saturday said it has set aside ₹15 crore towards food programmes and pledged to distribute essential groceries to those in need, apart from offering to contribute necessary medical equipment and protective gear for healthcare workers here.
In a statement, the maker of Maggi noodles and Nescafe coffee, announced several measures to help healthcare workers, employees at its factories, and its distributors during the covid-19 crisis in the country. “We have already started the process of donating our brands to local governments to support the needy," Nestle said in the statement.
