Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman has thanked the doctors who gave him emergency care over the weekend, after he was admitted to hospital with heart problems.

The former Everton and Southampton boss underwent a cardiac catheterization operation and has revealed he is feeling "as fit as a fiddle again".

Koeman was rushed to hospital in an ambulance and had to have a stent placed in his vein after doctors discovered that his coronary artery was blocked.

Speaking out for the first time after his operation, the ex- Barcelona defender tweeted: "That was a bit of a scare, last weekend.

Tequila could become America’s favorite liquor, data trends show
