Ronald Koeman is recovering in hospital after suffering a heart attack. The former Southampton and Everton boss fell ill at his home in Bussum, a town 20 miles outside Amsterdam, this afternoon.
He was rushed to hospital in the Dutch capital by ambulance at 3.45pm where he underwent an angiogram that confirmed the doctors' initial diagnosis.
Koeman, 57, is being treated at the Amsterdam University Medical Centre and his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
The Dutchman, who had a glittering playing career with Groningen, Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona and Feyenoord, is famous for his cool demeanour on the touchline.
