disability during the coronavirus pandemic can now benefit from extra financial help, thanks to an extension of the Access to Work scheme.
Last year, it provided personalised support to over 36,000 people with disabilities and health conditions to do their job, providing grants for special equipment, travel costs and mental health.
The Access to Work scheme is designed to help people who are disabled or have a physical or mental health condition to retain, return to and move into employment.
As Covid-19 changes the face of the working landscape for the foreseeable future, many employers are asking staff to adapt to a new environment, often at home.
