A NHS nurse who felt guilty for jumping the queue at Aldi was left stunned by a kind stranger who gave her £50 to pay for her shopping.

The warm exchange left Isobelle Smithson, 24, shocked as the stranger paid her bill to thank her for her work during the coronavirus pandemic.

The mystery man had overheard her talking to others in the queue about her job, reports The Sun. Despite Isobelle not accepting the offer initially, he placed two £20 notes and a tenner in her trolley.
