Nicola Sturgeon announces three coronavirus deaths in Scotland as 176 new cases recorded

The total number of positive cases now sits at 21,719 since the start of the pandemic in late March.267 people are currently being treated in hospital for the virus with six in intensive care.The First Minister revealed there had been three deaths overnight which leaves the hospital death toll at 2,499.

The latest figures come after local lockdown restrictions were extended to cover East Dunbartonshire and Renfrewshire on Monday.
