A North West Ambulance Service paramedic has died after contracting Covid-19. The health worker, whose family have asked not to be named, tragically passed away in hospital yesterday on Friday, April 17.
He was married with children and had worked for the ambulance service for a considerable number of years, it has been confirmed.
Daren Mochrie, chief executive of North West Ambulance Service, said staff are currently being supported through this “very sad time”.
