A nurse set to start work at the Nightingale North West next week is devastated after his bike was stolen outside Manchester Children's Hospital.
Daniel Murray, a clinical support worker at the children's hospital, had just finished a long shift when he noticed his bike was missing.
It was discovered somebody had broken into the caged area where Daniel had locked up his bicycle and taken it. The incident was reported to police and hospital security staff on April 1.
Daniel, 44, relied on the bike to travel to work from his home in Levenshulme and said he took it everywhere with him. He is also set to start working at the new Nightingale North West Hospital helping to treat patients suffering from Covid-19, and will have further to travel.
