Of Monsters and Men unveiled their take on Post Malone's "Circles" on Friday (April 10), exclusively for Amazon Music.For their cover, the Icelandic band slows down Posty's hit 2019 single, reinventing the track as a languid, reflective ballad tinged with regret. "We couldn't turn it around/ 'Til we were upside down/ I'll be the bad guy now/ But no, I ain't too proud/ I couldn't be there/ Even when I try/ You don't believe it/ We do this every time," lead vocalist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir sings over gently cascading piano before crashing drums and echoing electric guitar herald the arrival of the chorus."We recorded this version of Post Malone’s ‘Circles’ in our studio in Iceland in February," the band said in a statement.
