Piers Morgan's Good Morning Britain role upped to four days a week for 'foreseeable'

Piers Morgan has confirmed he will take an extended role on Good Morning Britain amid the coronavirus pandemic. The telly host normally hosts the ITV daytime show Mondays to Wednesdays every week.

But viewers will be seeing much more of the outspoken presenter as his role has been increased to four days a week rather than his usual three.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Piers told his followers he will be adding an extra day on to his duties for the 'foreseeable future.' Piers and co-host Susanna Reid have been continuing to update viewers on the latest news throughout the COVID-19 as the UK continues in lockdown.

Piers wrote in response to a fan: "Thanks Tris, I'll actually be doing 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs) on @GMB for the foreseeable
