Pilot 'draws' Christmas tree over Scottish Highlands in festive flight

Scottish Highlands. In a bid to raise the spirits in the run up to the big day, the private Siai-Marchetti F-260D aircraft took an interesting route on it's journey around Scotland.The pilot left Dornoch at 12.11pm and took in Dalnessie, Loch Choire Lodge and Syre peaked at Strathy before heading south-east.It passed Achiemore, Forsinard and Gobernuisgeach on the way home.

The FlightRadar24 website tracked its passage with the aircraft touching back down at 1.48pm, with the entire route tracked on radar.
