Covid-19 in Scotland over the Christmas period, official figures reveal today. Officials from the Scottish Government had not been releasing the number of deaths, hospital admissions and intensive care patients over the festive season.But a comprehensive update today provided data for the last four days since Christmas Eve.There are currently 1,092 coronavirus patients in hospital and 65 in intensive care.The Scottish Government also confirmed that 14.4 per cent of the total number of tests carried out came back positive in the last 24 hours.Since the start of the outbreak a total of 122,786 people have tested positive for the deadly virus across the country.The death toll for Scotland now stands at 4,467 since the start of the pandemic in.
