direct to your inboxA police professional standards probe has been launched following the arrest of a cafe owner after officers were called to a lockdown breach.
Lucjan Domanski, 38, was arrested on Sunday afternoon as police responded to reports of '100 people' in the Kate & Luc Cafe in Burnage.
Mr Domanski has since been charged with assaulting a police officer.He will appear at Manchester magistrates' court on Tuesday, February 23.
On Sunday night GMP said they were investigating a video which appears to show Mr Domanski being 'struck by a police officer' as he was being arrested.
