Premier League bosses have no intention of suspending the season - despite a spike in Covid-19 causing chaos throughout the game.

Manchester City were forced to postpone Monday night's clash at Everton following an outbreak of the pandemic in the club's first team bubble.

More positive cases are expected to be confirmed today, meaning City's next two games against Chelsea and Manchester United will have to be postponed.

The new strain of the virus in London and the South East has seen cases rise, with the Premier League announcing the highest number of positive tests since September from the latest round of testing.To make matters worse, the games are now coming thick and fast due to the fact the season is in the middle of its busiest.
