Premier League clubs 'advised they may only get two-week break' before start of next season

Premier League clubs could get just a two-week break before the start of the new season. This campaign has been suspended indefinitely after the country went into lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis.

The 20 Premier League clubs held a video conference on Friday as they try to find a way to complete the current season. Some clubs still have 10 league games to play, while there are also domestic and European cup competitions to be finished.

A return to full training is still some way off as players carry out personal routines at home instead. FIFA have reportedly extended the season indefinitely, which would allow the Premier League to be finished off in the summer.
