Premier League clubs inform players of return date after coronavirus

Premier League clubs have asked players to target a return to full training on June 1. Top flight managers and their coaching and fitness staff aim to be working with their squads again by this date at the latest - in a bid to prepare for the resumption of the season.

But it remains to be seen if some big name stars will be able to get back to England in time, due to strict restrictions on travel because of the coronavirus pandemic.

A host of leading players have returned home to be with their families and are currently scattered across the world. Now club bosses face an anxious wait to see if they can arrange flights to get stars back in time for the start of full training again.
