The Premier League have agreed that an unweighted points-per-game system will be used if the campaign cannot be finished. It was announced on Thursday that the season would resume on June 17 following its enforced suspension amid the coronavirus pandemic.
It will begin with the Manchester City vs Arsenal and Aston Villa vs Sheffield United fixtures that had to be rearranged due to the League Cup final.
Then, the nine remaining rounds of action will begin from June 20 - although Sky are keen to show a game on Friday, June 19.
