Premier League bosses have been given a fresh boost that the season will get finished after watching the Bundesliga up close.
Germany became the first major league in Europe to recommence last weekend since postponements took place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
English clubs now plan to follow suit by starting their first phase of non-contact training on Tuesday with a June playing return date still the aim.
Premier League chief executive Richard Masters said he had been heartened by watching the Bundesliga and thinks a lot can be learned from what they are doing. “The Germans are a couple of steps ahead of us obviously and we can learn from them and watch them and take confidence from their success,” he said. “I think starting the
