Premier League clubs are fearful that as many as 50 players may revolt against plans to complete the season due to coronavirus worry.
The Project Restart plan wants the remaining 92 games to be played behind-closed-doors at eight to 10 neutral stadiums across the country.
No matches have been played since March 9 when Leicester City beat Aston Villa, with the league having been suspended since March 13.
But with each team still having at least nine league games remaining of their campaign, there is still much to play for in the standings.
