While most of Europe is in lockdown to limit the spread of coronavirus, Sweden continues to take a different approach, despite a climbing death rate.
The Scandinavian country saw a further spike in cases yesterday as 613 positive tests were confirmed, yet pubs and cafes remain full and packed with customers.
Sweden has also reported 130 new coronavirus deaths, meaning the country has had 1,333 victims during the pandemic so far, The Sun reports.
But the Swedish government has not yet brought in stricter guidelines around social gatherings, meaning bars, restaurants, schools and non-essential shops remain open.
