'Rage room' owner says more female customers smashing stuff up as 'therapy'

An increasing number of Brits are letting out their pent-up anger in rage rooms. However, workers are saying the majority of customers are women who are smashing stuff up as "therapy".

Since the first Rage Rooms opened up in 2008, dozens have opened across the UK. The activity centre gives customers a space to let out any frustrations by smashing up a wide range of objects.

Gemma Whiddett, 40, who has worked at the Rage Rooms in Norwich for two and a half years, said most of her current customers are women. Try MEN Premium now with our amazing New Year offer...

Dream Wife bassist Bella Podpadec has launched exclusive limited edition merch to help crowdfund their top surgery.They took to the band’s official Instagram today (January 26) to share that they have created a very limited edition blue t-shirt which features a pink unicorn playing the bass and the words “Not my body, I am somebody” (a line from Dream Wife’s 2018 song ‘Somebody’) on it as a way to raise money for their top surgery.The tee is priced at £25 and exclusively available on the band’s Bandcamp page.
