NEW DELHI : British consumer goods major, RB, on Friday launched the RB Fight for Access Fund that will see the maker of Dettol soaps and Harpic cleaners allocate £32 million to address the Covid-19 pandemic globally, the company said in a press release.
As part of the fund, the company will also donate 10 million Dettol soaps in India, largely among the needy. Globally, RB will give away a million litres of disinfectant products like Lizol, and Harpic toilet cleaner to public health institutions, and health and sanitation workers, and will distribute 3.5 million N95 masks to health workers. “We have a 200 year history of making a material difference to the lives of our consumers.
