Rebecca Adlington OBE is one of our most celebrated Olympians, with two gold medals under her belt. But in recent times, it's her honesty helped many other parents going through the pain of miscarriage - opening up publicly about her own devastating experiences last autumn, that has seen her in the spotlight.
The 34-year-old swimming star, from Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, has two young children (she shares Summer, 7, with her ex, former swimmer Harry Needs, who she split from in 201 6 and Albie, 2, with her husband of two years, Andy Parsons ).
But last October, Rebecca - who is on BBC presenting duties this Summer for the Olympic games, suffered the heartbreaking miscarriage of her little girl, Harper, at 20 weeks.
